Dan Torres earned his BA in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University, aspiring to build a fulfilling career in physical therapy. With six years of experience playing rep volleyball, Dan has stayed active in the sport by participating in recreational leagues at school and in the community. His dedication to health and movement goes beyond the court—Dan is passionate about all things wellness, from physical activity and self-care to pet companionship and mental well-being.
Dan’s love for physiotherapy began at the age of 15 after a knee injury temporarily took him out of the game. While recovering, he saw firsthand how physical therapy not only aided his body’s healing but also played a significant role in his emotional resilience. This pivotal experience shaped his understanding of the strong connection between physical health and mental wellness.
Now, Dan is driven to help others through the same kind of compassionate, holistic care that supported his own recovery. His goal as a future therapist is to empower individuals to regain their strength, confidence, and overall wellness. Whether it’s overcoming injury or building a healthier lifestyle, Dan believes in treating the whole person and is committed to making every client feel seen, supported, and strong—both physically and mentally.
